Greetings, Nomidachi!Sake Nomi Display Sign

It's that time of year again: Saketoberfest!

Although unofficial, and very vaguely defined (as most good things begin), we mark this time of year -- the beginning of autumn and the new brewing season -- as a mini-festival in celebration of premium sake and all the wonderful folks involved in making it possible for us present such treats to all our friends here in the U.S.

This year's activities include introducing new brews (both foreign and DOMESTIC!), hosting lots of unique, sake-centric events, and just generally trying to kick things up a notch, as far as sake education and promotion here in Seattle are concerned.

We mention a few of these happenings below, and we hope you'll join us in celebrating and enjoying great sake with good friends.

(PLEASE NOTE: We will be CLOSED this Sunday, Sept. 22, to do some "field research."  OK, we'll be drinking with friends, matching sake with exotic foods, and taking a bit of a break.  Go 'Hawks, though!)
