It's been a bit since our last missive, but I just wanted to take a quick minute to express my family's gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love and support everyone has shown since we announced our impending temporary suspension of operations.

You folks are really amazing, and while we already knew that, we are completely overwhelmed by your generosity and kindness.  Your magnanimous contributions to our Gofundme account will allow me to concentrate on getting well and getting back on my feet behind the bar as soon as possible.

Today, we'll be open, doing what we normally do, at 2- 10(ish) pm, and while it's not an "everything must go" situation, we'll be doing some sake liquidation, for sure.

As I mentioned in the last newsletter, we'll be closed starting tomorrow, November 11, and we are hoping to reopen around November 24.  We'll keep you posted with another note, but if you're on it, please follow us on Facebook for the latest updates.

I'm anxious and scared, but also excited to take this cancer thing on and get through it.  I couldn't do it without the love of my family and friends, and I am very grateful to have you all as part of my life.
